With iOS 17 and above, it is now possible to install an eSIM using a QR code that is saved into your photos. This removes the requirement of needing a second device to display the QR code on.
To install your eSIM using a QR code from your photos, please see the following steps:
1. Ensure that the QR code is saved to your photos. This can be done by Logging In To Your Account, navigating to the Manage Your eSIMs section and selecting your eSIM. Once selected, view the QR code. To save the QR code as a photo, open the image or long press it and tap Save Image or Save to Photos. Alternatively, you can take a screenshot and trim it.
2. On your device, go to Settings.
3. Go to Mobile Service or Cellular Service.
4. انقر فوق "متابعة" > انتظر ما يصل إلى 10 دقائق حتى يتم تنشيط شريحة eSIM > اضغط على "تم".
5. Tap Use QR Code.
6. Tap Open Photos.
7. Select the QR code that you saved previously.
8. Tap Continue.
ملاحظة: يُرجى عدم إغلاق هذا، وإلا يتوقف التثبيت.
6. وعندما يُطلب منك، اضغط على "إضافة" > انتظر حتى 10 دقائق لكي يتم تنشيط شريحة eSIM.
7. Tap Done to complete the installation.
8. قم بتكوين الإعدادات التالية كما هو مقترح أدناه: قم بتعيين السطر الافتراضي على "أساسي" > اضغط على متابعة
9. Set Mobile Data to your chosen eSIM. As in the example below Business.
10. Go back into Settings > Tap Mobile Service or Cellular Service. Tap on the eSIM you want to check Data Roaming.
11. Toggle the switch to On.
12. ارجع إلى "الإعدادات" > اضغط على "بيانات الجوّال / خلوي" > انقر فوق شريحة eSIM التي تريد التحقق من بيانات التجوال لها > قم بالتبديل إلى "تشغيل".
13. تم الآن تثبيت شريحة eSIM وإعدادها.
